Hello Grade 6 and 7!

Today while you are in the computer lab, your job (you and a partner) is to find a simple electricity experiment (either using  current or static electricity).  You must write down the steps (procedure) and the materials needed to complete the experiment.  You will be presenting the experiement to the class at the beginning of next week.  Please follow the outline provided to write up your experiment.

Problem:  What are you trying to find out?

Materials:  What are you using?

Procedure:  What did you do?  Don’t forget any steps.

Observations:  What did you see happen? (or hear, smell, etc)

Conclusion:  What did you find out?  This should provide an answer to your problem.

I will help you outline the write up on Wednesday.  Don’t forget to write down the site you used to find the experiment….and make sure that it is simple.  You don’t want to have to go looking for things that are hard to find.
